Special Directions for Athletics

This page offers directions to Pace’s athletic facilities for Athletic buses in addition to personal and public transportation. Buses are considered Commercial Vehicles by the New York State Police and are not allowed on Parkways.

When driving a bus, you may not use the Saw Mill River Parkway, Taconic State Parkway, Hutchinson River Parkway, East River Drive (FDR), Henry Hudson Parkway (West Side Highway), Sprain Brook Parkway, Grand Central Parkway, Merritt Parkway or Bronx River Parkway. T

These vehicles are allowed on all other streets, roads, expressways, highways and connecting bridges in New York City and Westchester County, with the following exceptions: Commercial Vehicles are restricted to the upper level of the George Washington Bridge, and buses whose width exceed 96" may not enter the Holland Tunnel.

From the North:

Take I-95 South, I-87 South, or the Bruckner Expressway Rt. 278 to the Triborough Bridge. After crossing the Triborough Bridge, take Rt. 278 Brooklyn-Queens Expressway South for just over 11 miles and then bear right onto Tillery St. Go ½ a mile and turn right onto the Brooklyn Bridge. After crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, turn slight right onto Centre St. and left onto Reade St. Turn right onto Elk St. Turn right onto Duane St./Federal Plaza. Turn right onto Lafayette St. Turn slight right onto Centre St. Centre St. becomes Park Row. Turn left onto Spruce St. End at 1 Pace Plaza.

From the South:

Take the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan and follow the directions above.

Take Rt. 278 Brooklyn-Queens Expressway East to Hamilton Ave. and follow signs to the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel. After passing through the Tunnel, turn right onto West St. and immediately right onto Rector St. Turn left onto Trinity Place which becomes Church St. Turn right onto Vesey St. which becomes Ann St. Turn right left onto Park Row and almost immediately, turn left onto Spruce St. End at 1 Pace Plaza.

Take the Prospect Expressway West or the Gowanus Expressway to the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel and follow the directions above.

From the East:

Take 278 South to the Brooklyn Bridge (see “From the North” above) and follow the directions above.

Take Rt. 495 Long Island Expressway West to Exit 17 onto I-278 Brooklyn-Queens Expressway West. Take Exit 29 onto Tillery St. and then onto the Brooklyn Bridge. Follow the directions above.

From the West:

Take the NJ Turnpike I-95 to Routes 1 and 9 going East to the Holland Tunnel (NOTE: the maximum width of trucks or buses allowed to enter the Holland Tunnel is 96"). Take the ramp toward Downtown/ Brooklyn. Turn slight left onto Beach St. Beach St. becomes Walker St. Turn right onto Lafayette St. Turn slight right onto Centre St. Centre St. becomes Park Row. Turn left onto Spruce St. End at 1 Pace Plaza.

Take Routes 1 and 9 to the Holland Tunnel and follow the directions above.

From the Briarcliff Campus:

Start going North on Elm Rd. toward Pine Rd. Turn left onto South State Rd. Turn right onto Pleasantville Rd. Merge onto Rt. 100 South / Rt. 9A South via the ramp on the left. Turn slight left to take the Rt. 117 ramp toward North Tarrytown/ Pleasantville. Turn left onto Bedford Rd./Rt. 117. Enter the Pace Entrance #1 for the Willcox Gym or Pace Entrance #3 for the Goldstein Athletics Center and athletic fields.

From the North:

Take Rt. 9A South towards Briarcliff Manor and follow the directions above.

Take Rt. 100/Saw Mill River Rd. South and turn left onto Bedford Rd./Rt. 117. Follow the directions above.

From the South:

Take I-87 New York State Thruway North to Exit 8, I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway. Take Exit 1, Saw Mill Parkway/Rt. 119, and bear right onto the Rt. 119 exit. Turn left at the end of the exit and proceed to Rt. 9A. Turn left onto Rt. 9A North and follow that for 8 miles. Exit at the Rt. 117/Pleasantville Exit. Turn right at the light onto Bedford Rd./Rt. 117 and Pace will be on your left.

Take Rt. 9A

North to the Rt. 117/Pleasantville Exit and follow the directions above.

From the East:

Take I-684 South or I-95 South to I-287 West. Take I-287 West to Exit 2, Rt. 9A. Make a right turn onto Rt. 9A North and follow the directions above.

Take I-287 West and follow the directions above.

From the West:

Take I-87 South across the Tappan Zee Bridge. After the tolls, take Exit 8, I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway. Stay in righthand lane and take Exit 1, Saw Mill Parkway/Rt. 119. Follow directions above.

Take I-95 North to the George Washington Bridge to I-87 North and follow the directions above.

From the Pleasantville Campus:

Make a right out of Pleasantville campus to Route 9A. Take Route 9A North for about 2.5 miles to a light at the intersection with Texaco on your left and a strip of stores on your right. Turn left onto North State Rd. At next light turn left onto Pleasantville Rd. Follow through the town and make the first right onto Elm Rd. Go up the hill and the campus will be on your left.

From The North:

Take Rt. 100/Saw Mill River Rd. South. Turn right onto Pleasantville Rd. Turn left onto South State Rd. Turn right onto Elm Rd. and proceed to campus.

Take I-95 South or I-684 South to I-287 west. Take I-287 West to Exit 2, Rt. 9A. Make a right turn onto Rt. 9A North and follow the directions above.

From the South:

Take I-87 New York State Thruway North to Exit 8, I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway. Stay in right-hand lane and take Exit 1, Saw Mill Parkway/Rt. 119. Bear right onto 119. Turn left at the end of the exit and proceed to Rt. 9A North. Follow the directions above.

Take I-95 North to the George Washington Bridge to I-87 North and follow the directions above.

From the East:

Take I-95 South or I-684 South to I-287 west and follow the directions above.

From the West:

Take I-87 South across the Tappan Zee Bridge. After the tolls, take Exit 8, I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway and follow the directions above.

Take I-95 North to the George Washington Bridge to I-87 North and follow the directions above.

Start out going Southwest on Bedford Rd./Rt. 117. Merge onto Taconic State Parkway North via the ramp on the left and continue for just over 15 miles. Take the Rt. 132 exit toward Shrub Oak. Turn left onto Old Yorktown Rd./Rt. 132. Turn right onto Rt. 132/Barger St. Turn left onto Rt. 6 West. Turn right onto Strawberry Rd. Turn right onto Foothill St. Turn left onto Peekskill Hollow Rd./CR-21. End at 142 Peekskill Hollow Rd.

From the Briarcliff Campus:

Start out going North on Elm Rd. toward Pine Rd. Turn left onto South State Rd. Turn right onto Pleasantville Rd. Turn left onto Chappaqua Rd. Merge onto Taconic State Parkway North via the ramp on the left and follow the directions above.

From the North:

Take the Taconic State Parkway South to the Peekskill Hollow Rd. ramp. Turn left onto Peekskill Hollow Rd. and drive for 6.5 miles to the campus on your left.

From the South:

Take the Sprain Brook Parkway North to the Taconic State Parkway North. Stay on the Taconic Parkway for almost 17 miles. Take the Rt. 132 exit toward Shrub Oak. Turn left onto Old Yorktown Rd./NY-132 and then right onto Barger St. Turn left onto Rt. 6 going West and then right onto Strawberry Rd. Turn right onto Foothill St. and left onto Peekskill Hollow Rd. End at 142 Peekskill Hollow Rd.

From The East:

Take Rt. 95 South to Exit 21, Rt. 287 West. Take 287 West to Exit 3, the Sprain Brook Parkway. Merge onto the Sprain Brook Parkway going North and follow the directions above.

From the West:

Take Rt. 6 East onto the Palisades Interstate Parkway North/Rt. 6 East. Enter next roundabout and take 2nd exit onto Rt. 202 North/ Rt. 6 East. Enter next roundabout and take 1st exit onto Rt. 9 South/Rt. 202 East/Rt. 6 East. Turn left onto Bear Mountain State Parkway. Turn slight right onto ramp. Turn sharp left onto North Division St./CR-63. Continue to follow CR-63. Stay straight to go onto Oregon Rd./CR-63. Continue to follow Oregon Rd. Turn left onto Old Oregon Rd. Old Oregon Rd. becomes Oscawana Lake Rd./CR-20. Turn right onto Peekskill Hollow Rd. /CR-21. Turn right onto Peekskill Hollow Rd. /CR-21. End at 142 Peekskill Hollow Rd.

Take I-84 East toward Beacon. Take the Taconic State Parkway South toward New York and follow the directions above.

BY BUS

From the Pleasantville Campus:

Start out going Southwest on Bedford Rd./Rt. 117. Merge onto Rt. 100/Saw Mill River Rd. North and then onto Rt. 9A North. Merge onto Rt. 202 East. Bear right onto Main St./Rt. 6 heading Northeast. Make a sharp left onto Strawberry Rd. Take a right onto Foothill St. and then a left onto Peekskill Hollow Rd. End at 142 Peekskill Hollow Rd.

From the Briarcliff Campus:

Start going North on Elm Rd. toward Pine Rd. Merge on Rt. 100/Rt. 9A North and follow the directions above.

From the North:

Take I-87 South to I-84 East towards Newburgh. Get onto Rt. 9 going South toward Highland Falls. Turn slight left Old Albany Post Rd. and left onto Canopus Hollow Rd. Bear right onto Oscawana Lake Rd. and then bear left onto Rt. 22. Turn left onto Peekskill Hollow Rd. End at 142 Peekskill Hollow Rd.

From the South:

Take Rt. 9A North to Rt. 134 going North. Take this to Rt. 100 going North to Rt. 129 going West. Take this to Rt. 118 going North. Make a left onto Hanover St./Rt. 202 West. Take a right onto Old Yorktown Rd. heading North. Old Yorktown Rd. turns into Main St. which turns into East Main St. From here, bear right onto Strawberry Rd. Take a right onto Foothill St. and then a left onto Peekskill Hollow Rd.

From the East:

Take I-84 West toward NY State. Take the exit 19, Rt. 312 toward Carmel. Turn right onto Rt. 312. Turn right onto Rt. 6. Turn left onto Rt. 6/South Gleneida Ave. Continue to follow Rt. 6 West. Turn right onto Strawberry Rd. Take a right onto Foothill St. and then a left onto Peekskill Hollow Rd.

From the West:

Take I-84 East towards Newburgh. Get onto Rt. 9 going South toward Highland Falls and follow directions above.

Start out going West on Bedford Rd./ Rt. 117. Merge onto Rt. 100 South/ Rt. 9A South/Saw Mill River Rd. via the ramp on the left. Take the Rt. 100 ramp toward Rt. 9/ Saw Mill River Rd. Keep left at the fork in the ramp. Turn slight right onto Broadway/ Rt. 100. Continue to follow Broadway. Take the ramp toward Sprain Brook Parkway/Bronx River Parkway. Merge onto Taconic State Parkway South. Take Sprain Brook Parkway South toward New York City. Merge onto I-287 East/Cross Westchester Expressway via the exit on the left toward White Plains. Take exit number 9S-North toward Hutchinson Parkway/Whitestone Bridge/Merritt Parkway. Turn slight left onto Westchester Ave/CR-62 East. Take the Hutchinson Parkway exit number 9N North toward Merritt Parkway. Merge onto Hutchinson Parkway North. Hutchinson Parkway North becomes CT-15 North / Merritt Parkway. Start out going North on Elm Rd. toward Pine Rd. Turn left onto South State Rd. Turn right onto Pleasantville Rd. Merge onto Taconic State Parkway South and follow directions above.

From the North:

Take the Merritt Parkway/Rt. 15 South to Exit 37. Turn left onto South Avenue (Rt. 124 North) to New Canaan. Go to first major intersection and take a left onto Farm Road. The high school is on the left. Take a left into the second parking lot.

From the South:

Take the Merritt Parkway/Rt. 15 North to Exit 37. Turn left onto South Avenue (Rt. 124 North) to New Canaan. Go to first major intersection and take a left onto Farm Road. The high school is on the left. Take a left into the second parking lot.

From the East:

Take Rt. 7 to the Merritt Parkway/Rt. 15 South, via exit number 3, towards New York City. Merge onto CT-123 via exit 38 toward Norwalk/ New Canaan. Turn slight left onto Old Norwalk Rd. Turn left onto Main St. Turn right onto Farm Rd. End at 11 Farm Rd.

Take the Merritt Parkway/Rt. 15 South and follow directions above.

From the West:

Take I-287 East/Cross Westchester Expressway towards White Plains and follow directions above.

Start going East on Rt. 117/Bedford Rd. until it merges with South Bedford Rd. Bear left onto South Bedford Rd. and make a sharp right into King St. Turn left onto Rt. 22 going East, and then turn right onto Creemer Hill Rd. Bear right onto Round Hill Rd. and then turn left onto Close Rd. Bear left onto Lake Ave. Turn right onto Conyers Rd. Turn left onto North St. and then right onto North Stanwich Rd. Turn left onto Taconic Rd. and bear right onto Farms Rd. Follow Farms Rd. until you reach Riverbank Rd. Turn left onto Riverbank Rd. and then right onto Wildwood Rd. Continue on Wildwood Rd. until after you’ve crossed Rt. 104. Turn left on Hunting Ridge Rd. and then right onto Haviland Rd. Turn right onto Scofieldtown Rd. and then turn left onto Brokfield Rd. Take I-87 South to the Rt. 17K exit number 17- toward I-84/Newburgh/Stewart Airport. Take the ramp toward Middletown. Merge onto Rt. 300/Union Ave. Merge onto I-84 E toward Beacon (Portions toll). Merge onto Rt. 7 South via exit number 3 toward Norwalk. Rt. 7 S becomes CT-33/Danbury Rd. Stay straight to go onto Danbury Rd. / Rt. 7 South. Continue to follow Rt. 7 South to Rt. 123 going West. Turn slight left onto Old Norwalk Rd. and follow directions above.

From the South:

Take I-95 North to Exit 15 and follow signs for Rt. 7 (Connector) Danbury. At Exit 2, take a right. Go to next light and take a right onto New Canaan Avenue (Rt. 123 North); follow through Norwalk to New Canaan. Make a slight left onto Old Norwalk Rd. Turn left onto Main St. Turn right onto Farm Road. End at 11 Farm Rd.

From the East:

Take I-95 South to Exit 15. Follow signs for Rt. and follow directions above.

From the West:

Take I-87 South across the Tappan Zee Bridge. After the tolls, take Exit 8, I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway. Continue on 287 East until it becomes I-95. Take I-95 North to exit 15 and follow directions above.
