Peace and Justice Minor

The PJS Minor is a 15-credit interdisciplinary minor, open to all students.

PJS 101 – Introduction to Peace and Justice Studies – a 3-credit hands-on, experiential course introducing students to the field of Peace and Justice Studies
Spring semester only - Approved for AOK#1 and AOK#5 credit

 Elective Courses: (12 credits)
These 12 credits can include either:
one 6-credit approved learning community course plus two 3-credit courses from the list below,
or four 3-credit courses from the list of approved electives below.
 

The approved 6-credit learning community courses include:
INT 296 HR 200 – Keys to Global Peace: Nonviolent Conflict Resolution and Sustainable Development (AOK #1 and AOK # approved)
And BIO 170 – Spaceship Earth, when it is paired with another course as an LC
