Conflict Exams

Students who have two (2) scheduled final exams at the same time or more than two (2) exams on the same day may apply to take one of these exams on the date listed below. The students must file an application for a conflict exam with the Department Secretary for the class that will be taken as a Conflict Exam. If there is a dispute as to which exam should be taken as a Conflict Exam the Office of the Dean for the student’s school will adjudicate.

Deferred Exams

Students are permitted to take a deferred examination with the approval of their instructor for compelling reasons only, such as illness, emergencies, or other exceptional circumstances. Students who have a sufficient reason to request a deferred examination are required to complete a deferred examination application form and have it approved by their instructor. If the instructor is not available, students should contact the appropriate academic department for assistance. Applications are available at the Office of Student Assistance (OSA). Eligible students are then required to submit the approved form to the OSA and pay a fee of $32.00 for one or a fee of $50.00 for two or more exams.
