business is conducted. Students can move their
careers ahead through this innovative and
interdisciplinary program that provides students
with a solid foundation in Internet Technology
and specialization in a complementary discipline
or emerging technology. It prepares them to
perform well in today's business environment.
Upon completion of core requirements, students
declare a 9-credit knowledge area in Internet
Technology for e-Commerce, Security and
Information Assurance, Open Source Application
Development, Network Administration,

capstone project integrating all that the
student has learned completes the program.
Both the Internet Technology for e-Commerce and
Security and Information Assurance course
sequences can be completed online.
Students without undergraduate preparation in a
computer-related field may begin their core
requirements upon admission; prerequisite course
work in the knowledge area may be required.
