In an increasingly interconnected world, the
role of telecommunications and networking
infrastructure continues to grow. New
information services and network systems for
their distribution will continue to emerge.
The curriculum of the MS in
Telecommunications is designed to provide a
solid foundation for the planning,
implementation, and management of up-to-date
networking systems. It emphasizes current and
emerging Internet-related technologies and
applications. Case studies integrate technology
with managerial issues and with perspectives on
telecommunications policy and the evolving
environment of regulation and standardization.
The program will serve students seeking a
career in telecommunications as well as
managerial and professional staff already in the
field.
