There is tremendous demand for nurse educators with nursing jobs projected to grow 26% through 2020—faster than the average for all professions. Pace’s revised Nursing Education program now offers a MS in Nursing Education in which will mentor and prepare you for leadership roles in a variety of academic and health care settings.

Pace’s MS in Nursing Educationallows you to advance your career while preparing for a future shaping the next generation—and practice—of nursing. At Pace, you’ll receive:

  • A unique blend of online and on-campus classes, and individually precepted clinical practicum hours in diverse health care settings.
  • Career preparation that is grounded in our evidence-based, cultural competence, primary health care framework, our MS in Nursing Education will prepare you for leadership roles in a variety of academic and health care settings. You will learn the latest concepts and theories that support sound educational practice in today’s complex health care and academic environments.

With this newly revised degree program, you can expand your career and take advantage of the ongoing need for nursing educators. Registered nurses with a bachelor’s degree in nursing and RN “bridge” students, who have one year of clinical nursing experience, may apply. Upon completion of the program, you can become an educator in a clinical or community-based setting, an academic instructor at the associate degree level, or a clinical faculty member at a college or university. This program provides the foundation to advance your education to the PhD or EdD degree.
