We are excited that you will be joining our community for the Fall 2016 semester. Below is all the Orientation and placement testing information you need to get started at Pace University.
All international students must attend Orientation and take the online placement tests at least one week prior to attending Orientation.
Students currently in the U.S. on an F-1 visa or other non-immigrant visa (i.e: E2, G4, H4 L2, etc.) graduating from a U.S. high school who will be staying in the U.S. for the summer may attend First-Year Orientation on June 16-17, June 23-24, July 7-8, July 14-15, July 21-22 or September 1-2 for admitted NYC Campus students. Admitted Westchester Campus students may attend First-Year Orientation on July 7-8, July 14-15, July 21-22, July 28-29, or September 1-2. Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) students may also attend one of these Orientation dates.
Students who will be receiving an F-1 visa from a U.S. Consulate’s Office* during the summer and are currently residing in their home country must attend the September 1-2 Orientation whether you are admitted to the NYC Campus or Westchester Campus. *Please note: F-1 visa holders outside of the U.S. cannot enter the U.S. on the F-1 visa no more than 30 days before the start of the school year which begins on September 7, 2016.
In addition, all international students on an F-1 visa who are first-time students at Pace must also attend the mandatory International Student Orientation (ISO) on September 1 from 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. (for admitted NYC Campus students) and September 2 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. (for admitted Westchester Campus students). The International Student Orientation will focus on immigration regulations pertaining to international students on F-1 visa, visa applicable benefits and restrictions, and other helpful information about Pace University services for international students.
The easiest way to sign-up for First-Year Orientation is through our online Orientation Registration System. We strongly encourage you to read the information below prior to entering the Orientation Registration System.
