Fall Orientation

We are excited that you will be joining our community for the Fall 2016 semester. We have designed an Orientation program that will prepare you to succeed at Pace University and acquaint you with your new environment. Current students who serve as Orientation Leaders will guide you through an experience that includes learning about campus resources, academic advisement, college life and expectations, receiving your class schedule, and meeting members of the campus community.

Below is all the Orientation and placement testing information you need to get started at Pace University.

1. Make an appointment with your academic adviser prior to Orientation. Below is a list of college and school advisers. Your adviser is determined by the college or school in which your major is housed. If you are uncertain about who to contact, you should call the Center for Academic Excellence at (914) 773-3434.

Your adviser will discuss with you what previous college level courses you have taken and based on this information will inform you if you need take placement tests. It is important that you meet with your adviser before Orientation so that you can select and register for courses. At your first meeting, your adviser will be able to answer any questions you may have. During Orientation you will meet with your adviser again to continue to develop one of the most important relationships you will have at Pace University.
2. Register for Orientation by clicking on the button below. Confirm which session you will attend:
