We are excited that you will be joining our Westchester campus for the Spring 2017 semester. This page provides you with the next steps for Orientation and Placement Testing.

Step 1: Register For Orientation
Thursday, January 19, 2017*
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
(International students will need to also attend the Mandatory New International Student Orientation (ISO). See below for more information.)
*If Orientation is canceled due to inclement weather, the alternate snow date is Friday, January 20, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Please call SDCA at (914) 773-3767 to confirm the date change.
Family members are welcome to attend the concurrent but separate family/guest program.

Step 2: Make an Appointment with your Academic Adviser
Your adviser will be able to answer any questions you may have and provide you with additional information about placement testing. Please meet with your adviser before Orientation so that you can select and register for courses. During Orientation, you will meet with your adviser again to continue to develop one of the most important relationships you will have at Pace University.
Your adviser is determined by the college or school in which your major is housed.

Step 3: Online English Placement Exam Information
If you are not receiving Pace credit for an English class from another institution, you will need to complete our Online English Placement Exam. For important information and testing date deadlines, please click here.
Information for International Students Holding an F-1 Visa
All new international students on F-1 visa must attend the Mandatory New International Student Orientation (ISO), as required by the U.S. federal regulations. ISO will be held at 3:15 p.m. right after your new student orientation. You should have the following items with you:
- Your passport
- I-20 Form
- I-94 electronic arrival record (which can be accessed here).
In addition to the mandatory check-in, you will be introduced to the basics of your student visa, and how to maintain your lawful status, as per the U.S. federal regulations.
