As a Pace University alumnus/a, you can help ease the transition to college for students who live in your neighborhood by hosting a Summer Send-Off reception. We salute Larry (Class of 1955) and Isabelle Cohen of Staten Island and Pace Alumni Network (PANet) Rockland County leaders Ronald Tassello ’79, Marc Angel ’93, James Greco ’79, and Hal Scholl ’79 for hosting Summer Send-Offs for local students who have been accepted to Pace for September 2007. Summer Send-Offs are informal gatherings of local alumni, students, and their families that welcome first-year students into the Pace community. Whether it’s a backyard barbeque, a late afternoon ice cream social, or an early evening cheese and crudités reception, you can help new students develop a social network and prepare for success. Alumni hosts provide the location and refreshments; the ASPIRE program at Pace handles the invitations, mailings and postage. To learn more about hosting a Summer Send-Off in your area, contact Dawn Knipe at (212) 346-1281 or email dknipe@pace.edu. Alumni in Action, |
