October 2007

The next time you're on the Pleasantville campus, enjoy a stroll along Shirley Beth's Way, a new pedestrian walkway that runs along the pond between Kessel Student Center and Miller Hall. Milton Feldman, a longtime friend of Dr. Edward J. Mortola and Pace, donated the walkway and a nearby sitting area in memory of his late wife, Shirley Beth Feldman. The dedication will be held at noon on October 7, 2007 as part of the fourth annual University Fest. The meditation garden in front of the Edward J. Mortola Library was dedicated to the memory of their daughter, Leslie Jill Feldman, and her fiancée John Liegel, both Pace students, in 1997. Both School of Education and Lubin School of Business students have benefitted from a scholarship established by the Feldmans in the 1970s.
