February is the perfect month to express your love for your family, friends and community.
Pace has a long tradition of supporting diversity and the needs of the local and global community. In fact, the Golden Key International Honour Society, the world's premier collegiate honor society, recently awarded Pace a 2009 Chapter Service Award for its community service efforts.
Most recently, Pace students have rallied behind earthquake victims in Haiti, holding a dance-a-thon and collecting donations of goods for Haitian relief. This is just one example of the many causes in which the Pace community is involved, including Relay for Life, HIV/AIDS awareness, blood drives, working with residential treatment centers, and more.
Our alumni, meanwhile, continue to work toward greatness on numerous initiatives. Peter Baldini '87, Jose Luis Castro '88, and Andrew Rendeiro '87 first met as Pace students in 1984. Twenty years later, the trio established the World Lung Foundation, an organization with the ambitious goal of improving respiratory health globally.
