Homecoming 2010
We're thrilled to welcome alumni and friends back to our Pleasantville and New York City campuses for Homecoming 2010!
The festivities begin in Pleasantville on Thursday, October 14 with a Fraternity & Sorority National Step Show. On Friday, October 15, Women's Volleyball takes on Stonehill followed by a Pep Rally and fireworks!
And we have more great things in store for you on Saturday, October 16. Our complimentary Alumni Luncheon is an exciting new addition to this year's celebration. Help us start a new Pace tradition and stop by for lunch in the Alumni Tent near the football field between 12:00PM and 3:00PM. Setters' football faces off against Stonehill at 1:00PM, and there's live halftime entertainment from the Melillo Brothers with Joe Melillo '08! After the game, you can take a campus tour or head to Briarcliff for women's soccer versus Bentley. But be sure to be back in Pleasantville by 4:30PM for our complimentary Alumni Reception with President Stephen J. Friedman in the VIP Room at the Goldstein Health and Fitness Center. You can hear the latest about the Pace athletics program from Joe O'Donnell, director of athletics, and current Pace coaches and athletics staff. Top the evening off with the Pace Family Dinner, entertainment from mind reader Robert Channing, and the student event "Fabulicious (Fabulosity Part ii)." Not sure what to do on Sunday, October 17? Choose from Brunch and Broadway, Apple Picking, and a matinee of "Jekyll and Hyde" at the Westchester Broadway Dinner Theatre.
The celebration starts all over again in 1 Pace Plaza on Thursday, October 21 with an Alumni and Student Leaders Reception and the Homecoming Concert. On Friday, October 22, enjoy the Homecoming Variety Show on campus, or take in a Broadway show!
Don't sleep in on Saturday, October 23: alumni and friends are invited back to downtown NYC for the complimentary Jazz Brunch with President Stephen J. Friedman featuring a live jazz band and Pace musical theatre majors. You will also have the opportunity to meet some of the school Deans. That afternoon, you can get some interviewing and resume tips from Career Services, check out your old stomping grounds with a campus tour, or see NYC from a new perspective on a Double Decker Bus tour. Plus you have one last chance to enjoy a Broadway matinee! You can purchase tickets for the Tony-award winning musical "Memphis" from Alumni Relations at a special alumni discount while supplies last.
