Pace Recognizes Scholarship Donors and Recipients
 Like many universities, Pace relies on the generosity of our alumni and friends to support our current students. The annual Scholarship Dinner gives donors and scholarship recipients the opportunity to meet in person and share their Pace stories. Held on Tuesday, April 5 at Delmonico's Restaurant in the Financial District, the evening features student and donor speakers, as well as remarks from President Stephen J. Friedman.
For alumni, establishing a scholarship is a means to provide current students with the opportunity to enjoy their own Pace experience. "The reason I gave, and continue to give, is because I owe much of my success to Pace University," says Harris Rothstein '60. "As a student here years ago, I benefitted from the generosity of others. Now it is my opportunity and privilege to give current students that same chance to excel at this great institution."
Meanwhile, for students like Lorendra Pinder '11, attending Pace would not have been possible without scholarship support. "As a first generation college student, tertiary education is a dream I have long aspired to in spite of the odds that dream presented financially," note Pinder. "As a Pace student, this dream was made a reality through the benevolence of scholarship support that I have received throughout my tenure as an undergraduate student. I can honestly say that without such aid I would not be here or have achieved half of what I have today."

Thoughts on Reliving Commencement
 Represent your reunion class and continue the tradition. Volunteer to march at Commencement 2011 and receive a Pace University cap and gown, enjoy on-stage seating during the ceremonies, and be our guest at a special alumni brunch. Ceremonies will take place on May 20 in Pleasantville and May 22 in New York City.
