Dr. Anthony Pustorino to Receive Lubin Golf Classic Award
Dr. Anthony Pustorino, Professor Emeritus, will receive the Lubin Golf Classic Award for his dedication, leadership and commitment to Lubin and Pace at the 14th Annual Lubin School of Business Golf Classic on Tuesday, May 29. Proceeds from the Golf Classic fund scholarships for Lubin undergraduate students who demonstrate academic excellence, service to Pace, and financial need.

CNN Anchor to Speak at Reception Honoring Verizon's CIO/SVP
CNN Anchor and special correspondent Soledad O’Brien will serve as Keynote Speaker at the 17th Annual Leadership and Service in Technology Award Reception on June 21 honoring Judith Spitz, Ph.D., Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President, IT Strategy & Planning at Verizon.
Commencement speakers for 2012 will include: Daniel Meyer, restauranteur and CEO of Union Square Hospitality Group; Donna Shalala, President of the University of Miami; Stephen Apkon, Executive Director at the Jacob Burns Center, and the Honorable Andrew L. Carter, Jr., US District Judge for the Southern District of New York (SDNY).
Lienhard School of Nursing Supports Veterans and Military Families
Lienhard was one of only 20 nursing schools nationwide invited to a Joining Forces event with First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden that announced a commitment to further educate our nation's 3 million nurses so they are prepared to meet the unique health needs of service members, veterans, and their families.

Pace's first solar classroom opened on Thursday, April 19 thanks to a $15,000 grant from Con Edison. The conversion to solar power will allow the classroom to serve as a real-life model that shows solar power as a viable alternative to fossil fuels.
