Shakespeare's Globe Theater Returns to Pace
` Following a widely acclaimed tour and run in London in 2011, a handful of players from Shakespeare's Globe will perform a raw, thrillingly elemental production of "Hamlet" at Pace. The renowned troupe makes its inaugural visit to the Pleasantville campus on September 29-30, and returns to the Schimmel Theatre for the third time from October 2-7.
Pace Heads West - Destination California
We are excited to return to California next month! On October 3, Ben L. Hope, III, '87, Gerhard W. Karba, '86 and Dean G. Scheu, Jr., '83 will share their expertise in a panel discussion moderated by President Stephen J. Friedman on "Cloud Computing and the Bottom Line" at Fox Studios in Los Angeles. Afterwards, catch up with your fellow alumni at Pink Taco. We head north the next day to celebrate alumni success stories in San Francisco at Cameron Hughes Wine with host Mike DiNapoli, '87.
Pace to Turn Vacant Lot into Residence Hall
Pace has partnered with SL Green Realty to develop a new 30-story residence hall that will accommodate approximately 600 beds and offer state of the art student amenities at 33 Beekman Street in downtown Manhattan.
School of Education Presents the Distinguished Educators Lecture
Join one of the nation's foremost experts on education and economic development, Senior Harvard Lecturer Ronald F. Ferguson, PhD, in Pleasantville on October 23 as he discusses a growing national movement to improve educational outcomes for students from all racial, ethnic, and social backgrounds.
Alumna Reports on the Euro Crisis
Rima Abdelkader '06 experienced Greece's economic crisis firsthand when she participated in Professor Nick Catalano's travel course, "Greece: A Modern Odyssey" in spring 2012.

 
Under Construction
One Pace Plaza has been abuzz with activity this summer. Due to the generosity of an anonymous donor, the courtyard is undergoing a transformation. In addition, Chartwells Dining Services is funding renovations to Café 101, and the Birnbaum Library will feature a new lounge area. Work also continues at 140 William Street, which will house the Performing Arts Department.
