Feds Hire Vets (AKA America's Veteran) - From the makers of USAJOBS, this is the U.S. Office of Personnel Management’s government-wide veterans employment website. It is a critical component of the federal government’s strategy for the recruitment and employment of veterans. Find multiple tools and valuable resources here for all U.S. Veterans - job opportunities, forms, benefits, and program information as well as training assistance for private sector employment.
     
  My HealtheVet - In addition, to tracking your medical information, you now have free and secure to your military records and skill translator. Get on-demand access and download official data about your military training and experience, which can be used to find jobs and continue your career.  Your service data can be uploaded to job search and networking sites to help identify employment opportunities.  Review  deployment data, in-uniform experience, and Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) codes which define the type of work performed and skills learned during your tour of duty.  Veterans can download that information to their personal computers.Military job information available to veterans under this program will depend on discharge or retirement date. Register for a My HealtheVet account at any VA medical center by completing a one-time identity-verification process to help assure your data privacy.
