• Pace 2011 bachelor graduates surpass national employment rates by 12%. At graduation, 36% of Pace bachelor candidates who had begun their job search were employed. The national average was 24%.

• 80% of the Class of 2010 (bachelor and masters degree recipients) reported employment or continuing their education within six months of graduation.  82% were working in jobs related to their major field of study.

• A recent Payscale.com survey ranked Pace University in the top 30 list “Best Northeastern Colleges in the U.S. by Salary Potential” on par with the country’s most selective Ivy League schools.

AVERAGE SALARIES REPORTED BY SCHOOL:

• 95% of the 5 yr combined degree BBA/MBA graduates in public accounting were employed with a median salary of $56,000; 14% higher than the national average for BBA accounting; 10% higher than national median salary of recent MBAs according to NACE.

• 20% of Pace undergraduates reported continuing their education in professional/graduate degree programs, including 51 who enrolled within Pace’s master degree programs and 6 who continued at Pace Law School. 

• Organizations employing the  2010 graduates included: the “Big 4” accounting firms, American Express, Bank of New York  Mellon, Barclay’s Capital, Credit Suisse,  Federal Reserve Bank of NY, JP Morgan Chase,  Kraft, Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York Presbyterian Hospital, UBS, Verizon, Westchester Medical Center, White Plains Hospital

• Over 300 employers recruited Pace students for internships & professional opportunities in eight major recruiting events.

• More than 1,800 employers posted nearly 4,000 full-time employment and internship opportunities for Pace students.

• Approximately 56% of undergraduates from the class of 2010 reported having completed an internship, practicum, clinical or student teaching experience while at Pace. Full-time placement rate was more than 20% higher for students that had completed an internship while at Pace versus those that had not.

• Over 600 employers in the tri-state area sponsored Pace students in over 1,900 university sponsored internships, practica and fieldwork experiences.

• The average internship hourly salary for bachelor degree candidates was $15.31; master degree candidates $16.62. More than 50% internships were paid.

• 30% of graduating students who held an internship while at Pace reported offers of full-time employment from their employers. 79% accepted those offers.

• 88% of students would recommend their internship to other students.
