2014-2015 Convocation and First-Year Theme

Convocation

Convocation (Latin for 'calling together', translating the Greek ecclesia) is a group of people formally assembled for a special purpose. At Pace, Convocation sets the academic tone for the coming years of your Pace experience.

The 7th Annual Convocation, will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014 at 12 noon in the Goldstein Gym.  First-year students and their families are invited to join the Pace Community for this important ceremony that sets the academic tone for the coming year.  This year's theme - Finding and Pursuing Your Passion - will be explored by all first-year students through the University's Common Reading Selection, discussion groups, and a variety of academic experiences.

Join your fellow students, faculty, and staff on the PLV campus for an afternoon of festivities, lunch, and keynote address from Melissa Cardon, Professor of Management and Director of the Business Honors Program at the Lubin School of Business, Pleasantville campus.
