His new movie, named for the Sanskrit word meaning “the ever-turning wheel of life,” is a nonverbal exploration of the range of human experience. Shot over five years in 25 countries, it overflows with breathtaking images and transcendent music, revealing wonders from the mundane to the miraculous, and illuminating profound interconnections among people and nature. Take a guided tour of the “Science Barge” which is in Yonkers, floating on the Hudson River.  The Science Barge is a sustainable urban farm powered by solar, wind, and biofuels, and irrigated by rainwater and purified river water. It features a variety of alternative energy sources to be sustainable.  In addition staff grow fresh fruit and vegetables using recirculating hydroponics and aquaponics.
