StrengthsQuest

This valuable tool has been made available to Pace students.  An assessment will generate information about you which will, in turn, help you reflect on your strengths and which major may best suit you!  In order to use this resource, you must contact your ACEM adviser: Allyson King (PLV) aking@pace.eduor Shannon Haick (NYC) shaick@pace.eduand request an access code.

Major Quiz

This site has a quick quiz that matches your personality with possible degree programs.  The questions are fun to answer and it will not take you longer than a few minutes.

Register on this website to take their MyMajor Quiz and gain access to other resources.  They even have an app that you can download on your smart phone!

Career Zone

Assessments on the Career Zone website (created by NYS) allow visitors to click on three interests and then get instantly matched with occupations that may interest you.  Bring these results to an ACEM adviser and they can help you determine a relevant major as well as comprehensive information on careers that match

Career Interest Survey

This survey will help you pinpoint which qualities you possess from each of the categories listed (practical, creative, adaptive, etc.).  Ultimately, this survey will link you to careers that match your responses.  Meet with an ACEM adviser to discuss majors, which can set you on the way to one of those careers.

College Board Major & Career Profile

A comprehensive listing of majors and careers.  Use the major list to find out which courses are most commonly associated with the major and career, what degree the major leads to, and some sneak peeks at the major to see whether or not it would be interesting to you.

Pace Career Services

Pace’s Career Services department offers resources and information to help students explore majors, internships and careers.

Major Information Database

To help you make a final decision on which major is right for you, check out Rider University’s website which tells you what you can do with your major.  This site includes information on which majors connects to which careers, plus common employers of graduates with those particular majors.  All majors listed have links to printable documents, plus many other links, too.
