Educational Technology Specialist Advanced


The Advanced Certificate in Educational Technology Specialist requires a minimum of 24 graduate credits.  Candidates' background in education and in technology will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, using transcript review and challenge examinations.  Each candidate will meet with the faculty (either face-to-face or virtually) to design his/her own professional development plan.  Each plan must be designed to meet the competencies stipulated by the State of New York and the International Society of Technology Education (ISTE) .

All admission requirements outlined in the MS.Ed in Educational Technology Specialist Program Overview apply to the Advanced Certificate program as well.
