Nursing Students Host Bone Marrow Drive
On March 14, 2016, Future Leaders in Health Care hosted a bone marrow drive to register potential candidates to donate.
Cheek swabs were taken from 35 people. According to the organization Delete Blood Cancer, once samples are taken and people are on the US national bone marrow donor registry, they are "on standby to save a life."
First year nursing students organized the bone marrow drive and are in the accompanying photo.
