Research Presented on Behalf of Pace University’s Gerotechnology Team

Professor Sharon Wexler, FNP student Chava Pollak, and tech developer Victor Wang recently presented at the Gerontological Society of America (GSA) annual meeting in New Orleans, LA.

Dr. Wexler and Ms. Pollak presented two papers on behalf of Pace University’s Gerotechnology research Team: "Use of an Avatar Enhanced Care Team to Improve Outcomes in Hospitalized Older Adults" and "Older Women's Perceptions of Cardiac Rehabilitation: A Qualitative Pilot Study."

In addition, Dr. Wexler presented a poster at the Leadership Conference of the Hartford Centers of Geriatric Nursing Excellence: "Use of an Avatar Virtual Service Animal to Improve Outcomes in Hospitalized Older Adults"
