Welcome back to Pace at the start of a new semester and calendar year. It may seem early to be writing to you about the 2007 Commencement, but we are planning now to ensure that it will be a wonderful event.
As you know, Commencement is a special day for each of us, our students and their families. It celebrates the intellectual and personal mentoring you have all provided, and is the launching point where we send our students out into the wider world. Given the quality of that pedigree you have been so instrumental in creating, I am extremely proud to be a part of this community celebration. I hope that you will be available to join our ceremonies in May.
Now the details:

This year, as last year, the commencement response and cap/gown order form is online.
Click Here to complete the online Commencement Response Form. When completing the form, if you elect to order academic attire, the link to the Herff Jones website will be available for you to place your order. The form as well as your cap/gown order must be placed by Friday, March 16, 2007. Please note that if you own your own cap and gown you still must respond your attendance by the March 16 th deadline.
Please note that if you miss the March 16 h deadline date, you will incur the full cost of the cap and gown rental fees because of the extra cost to the University for late orders ($60). Please take the time to order now, if you can.
I hope you make every effort to attend Commencement and their related activities this year. Our fine University is now officially into its second century, and its faculty and academic strength has never been greater. Whether you join us at Radio City Music Hall or the Pleasantville campus, your presence will have real meaning for our students, their families, and the Pace community as a whole.
Thank you in advance for your response before March 16 th.
Geoffrey L. Brackett, D. Phil.
