The spring semester is well underway; and the 2013 Commencement ceremonies are right around the corner. I am proud to be a part of this community celebration and hope that you will be with me in May to show your pride in all that our students have accomplished at Pace. Please join me and the fellow Pace community as we celebrate the Pace Class of 2013.

10:30 a.m. New York Undergraduate ceremony
4:00 p.m. Graduate – Level ceremony
Friday, May 17, 2013, at the Ann and Alfred Goldstein Health, Fitness, and Recreation Center on the Pleasantville campus:
11:00 a.m. Westchester Undergraduate Ceremony
In order to help us plan, please indicate your participation in one or more of the commencement ceremonies. When completing the on-line form, if you elect to order academic attire, follow the link to place your order.
This year, we are offering a new benefit to faculty that allows them the option to purchase keeper caps and gowns. Pace will cover the cost of black keeper caps and gowns, but those who choose this option will be responsible for the cost of their hood (approximately $100-$135). You will be able to keep the academic attire and continue to use it for years to come. Please note, the caps and gowns Pace is purchasing are the standard black with velvet gowns. Hoods are customized based on school and degree.
When placing your order for academic attire, please be mindful of whether you choose the rental or the purchase option. If you choose the purchase option, you may pay for your hood via cash or check when you pick up your cap and gown or you may arrange to pay in advance by contacting Jennifer Ko via email at email@example.com or at 212-346-1962.
Register to attend Commencement by Monday, March 11, 2013. You will also be able to order your attire at this time. You must register even if you have your own academic attire. If you miss the March 11 deadline date, there may be a charge for academic regalia.
I look forward to seeing you at Commencement 2013! Your presence has significant meaning for our students, their families, and the entire Pace community.
Mark Allen Poisel, Ed.D.
