CLE Program: Landlord Tenant Law and Practice 2009
This program will be an overview of Landlord Tenant Law and Practice. The landlord's attorney will discuss interviewing clients, commencement of nonpayment proceeding in an ETPA building. The tenant's attorney will discusss interviewing tenant; development of defenses, discussion of solutions to related problems, SSI for children; sources of assistance to pay rent arrears, assuring repairs are made to apartment; settlement discussion. Judge will discuss conference of witnesses, discussion of the evaluation of proof and credibility of witnesses. |
