MEET THE INSTRUCTOR

E. Dominique Paraison has over 14 years experience in program/project management, architectural/design, construction, and site safety management with firms and institutions as McKissack & Associates (Philadelphia), Verizon Corporation (Design & Construction- Real Estate Portfolio Management), JW Consulting Engineer (Construction Site Safety Management/ Construction Management), City of New York Department of Design & Construction (Public Works- Design & Construction), private practice, teaching architectural and construction management & safety at university level. Mr. Paraison has extensive expertise in managing complex programs and demanding projects while maintaining daily business operations for public and private facilities.  Projects   include development of major project commitments – University Campuses educational, medical, engineering, laboratory, and teaching facilities, residential buildings and hotel/commercial mixed use complexes, Utilities & Telecommunication, and MTA Transits Projects – from initial concept through programming, design, and construction, to occupancy.  

His extensive background has involved program-, project- and construction- management- safety management: master planning, programming, design, bidding and award, and construction; development of program-wide contracting strategy; bid packaging and award; owner/designer/ contractor coordination; contract administration; code & zoning ordinance, quality assurance/control; constructability, bidability and value engineering; best practices; quality management, safety and security, facility operations and maintenance management; arbitration and dispute resolution.
