***Please Note that we will be accepting walk-in registrants for the 8-Hour Security Guard Training Class scheduled for Saturday, May 19, 2012 from 9-5pm.  Class starts promptly at 9am.  

Please come to the Information Desk at the Main Entrance of Pace University's Downtown Campus, located at One Pace Plaza, on Saturday morning, May 19 to register.  Please remember to bring a photo-id and the $50 payment for the course (accept exact cash or money order only). 

Registrants will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis.***


 


8-Hour Security Guard Licensing Pre-Certification Course


This is the 1st course you must take.  It is mandatory for individuals seeking employment as a Security Guard in New York State. 

Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion at the class conclusion and will receive an information packet on the NYS application process (additional fees payable directly to NYS apply).

16-Hour Security Guard On-The-Job Training Course

This is the 2nd course you need to take.  This class is required within 90 days of starting work as a Security Guard.  Please note that you may take this course before starting work and do not need to be employed to take this course.   Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion at the class conclusion.

Prerequiste: You must have completed the 8-Hour Pre-Assignment Course.
