Strategic Human Resources Business Partner Certificate
This exciting two-day seminar will focus on the necessary skills to be an effective HR Business Partner. Learn how to make this dynamic transition from the traditional HR role to that of a Business Partner and to be recognized as critical partner in the strategic success of the organization. Meet the Instructor
Greg Chartier, Ph.D., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GPHR, is a well-known management consultant, educator and speaker. His human resource practice is based on the Business Partner Model of Human Resources, which places its emphasis on outsourcing, the use of technology to gain efficiencies and the improvement of managerial skills. Dr. Chartier is a thought-provoking professional speaker whose wisdom and insights into management and leadership make him an electrifying speaker and seminar leader. His philosophy is simple --management is a skill and you can be a better manager by developing your skills.
Dr. Chartier has a BA from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and his Ph.D. in Human Resources Management from Madison University. In addition, he is certified by the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and as a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR), and he is a national member of SHRM and the Treasurer of the local SHRM chapter, the Westchester Human Resources Management Association. He is a Board Member of the Business Council of Westchester, the Chair of the Human Resources Council and a member of the Executive Committee and, he is on the faculty of the Continuing and Professional Education Department at Pace University.
