Red Hat Linux Network Applications and Security Administration
The Red Hat System Administration III course - RHEL 7 (formerly known as the Red Hat Linux Network Applications and Security Administration course) is designed for users of Linux (or UNIX) who want to build advanced networking and security skills beyond systems administration on Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This course will focus on Network Applications and Security Administration and prepare students for the RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer exam and certification). This course builds on students' existing Linux skills to move them on to advanced Linux skills. Participants will earn a Pace University Certificate of Completion.

RHA 230 Red Hat Linux Network Applications
Students learn how to deploy and administer the core networking services which have made Red Hat Enterprise Linux popular, including the Apache Web Server, the Samba File Server, BIND Domain Name Service, the Sendmail Mail Transport Agent, the Network File System (NFS), and more.
RHA 250 Red Hat Linux Security Administration
Students will also learn how to implement and administer basic security policies relating to user authentication (including PAM and NIS) and securing network applications using application level access control and kernel level firewalling (ipchains). Students additionally learn skills in administering SELinux, system monitoring, and implementing common encryption protocols (including public key infrastructures).
RHA 230 and RHA 250 are combined into one class including the RHCE exam and one week of test preparation and review.

- IT professionals who have taken the RHCT / RHCSA course work or equivalent experience in UNIX of Linux.
- IT professionals who want to advance their career in Linux / IT.
