Course Description

This course is for the practitioner interested in mastering the latest techniques in social media-driven, integrated digital marketing, including Web, mobile Web, and mobile applications.  Using a customer-driven approach, topics will include the use of digital media outlets to build and promote corporate and personal brands, data-driven decision making for digital marketing, including Web analytics, search engine optimization, and the latest techniques in new media marketing.

About the Instructor

Matthew Knell is a social media strategist, digital marketer, web technologist and community evangelist with a long history of designing, developing and marketing a wide array of successful digital products including a patented pay-per-click advertising system for, the first social media strategies for JetBlue Airways, a social media platform for MTV Networks, and social media marketing distribution strategies for CafeMom and enterprise social strategy for AOL.  He is a proud alumnus of Pace University's Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems, and serves as a Tech Mentor-in-Residence there.  He has gone full circle and currently serves as's Vice President of Social Media and Community Strategy.
