Lunch & Learn

Civic Engagement and Public Value, An Introduction

Since 2003, Pace University has required undergraduate students to take a Civic Engagement and Public Values (CE) course prior to graduation.  This introductory session will introduce these innovative courses, whose primary aim is to link the classroom to the community.  Learn more about what these courses entail,  examples of the different ways faculty are incorporating this pedagogy will be given, steps on the creation and approval process will be laid out, and the supports put into place to support faculty who teach them will be shared.   This session is open to faculty who teach or are interested in teaching CE courses and will be held in the video-conference rooms on both the NYC campus (at One Pace Plaza in E319) and the Pleasantville campus (in Miller 16).
