NY Times Exchange Lunch

All faculty are welcome. There is no cost to attend; lunch will be provided.
As many of you know Pace has a partnership with The New York Times. Through this partnership students have access to complimentary copies of the newspaper at locations throughout the Manhattan and Westchester campuses. We are scheduling an interactive demonstration of on-line teaching tools available through nytimes.com and discipline specific teaching examples and resources available on http://www.nytimes.com/edu.
As a vibrant daily record of history in the making, The New York Times can ignite student interest by linking learning to living - serving the ideals of today's demanding educational aims by:
- Spurring Critical Thinking
- Increasing Local and Global Awareness
- Stimulating Class Discussion and Debate
Come lunch and learn how to better integrate The New York Times’ reporting, blogs and videos into your courses. The New York Times will also be demonstrating the new NYTimes.com Academic Pass, available free to anyone with a Pace.edu email, Times Topics, Times Search and Alerts to customize your experience in sharing The New York Times with your students.
Please join us for lunch, and be sure to register!
