The Pforzheimer Center for Faculty Development is an integral part of The Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT). It provides developmental opportunities for all faculty to improve their pedagogical skills to enable successful student learning. Some of the services are Faculty Exchange Lunches, Academic Portfolio Workshops, Tenure and Promotion Workshops, Faculty Institute and, upon specific request, a classroom observation session to help any faculty member with developing stronger pedagogical skills and teaching styles. This unit is currently overseen by two faculty advisors and guided by an advisory board.
