Will all of my textbooks and case studies be available on the Kindle DX?
You should have already received your books and case studies. If you are missing any items or have the wrong items, please call Amazon's Kindle Customer Service 1-866-321-8851. Kindle customer service associates are available from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, seven days a week.

Will I be able to access my Kindle textbooks after the pilot is over?
Books and case studies you received are automatically backed up in your Kindle library on Amazon.com. Books in your Kindle library will be available after the pilot. For more information on your Kindle library content, please see the Kindle Support tab on the Amazon.com Kindle store.

How about personal documents?
Personal documents (including PDF files) sent to your Kindle are not backed up at Amazon.com.

What happens if I break or lose my Kindle?
Automatic Backup will backup your last location read, all of your notes, and bookmarks you make in your Kindle library on Amazon.com. If your Kindle is lost, stolen, or damaged, you can automatically restore your annotations, bookmarks, and the last location you read saved in your Kindle library by downloading the item to your Kindle from the Manage Your Kindle page on Amazon.com.

Without page numbers, how can I tell how many pages I have left to read in the chapter?
At the bottom of every page, you can see where you are by glancing at the progress indicator. The progress indicator also shows structural marks within content such as chapters, articles, or bookmarks and the overall percentage of the book you have read. To skip to the next chapter, move the 5-way to the right.

How can I organize my content on Kindle?
By default, your content is sorted by most recent first but you can also sort by title, author and by content type (books, subscriptions, personal documents).

Where are the notes saved? How can I organize my highlights and notes?
My Clippings gathers the annotations you've made across all your various books and saves them in a text file on the device. You can also view your notes in the book you are currently reading by pressing Menu à My Notes & Marks, or online at http://kindle.amazon.com.

Why can’t I annotate PDF files?
The PDF reader does not currently support annotations. We may support this functionality in the future.

How can I cancel a subscription?
You can cancel subscriptions from the Manage Your Kindle page (www.amazon.com/manageyourkindle).

Can I upload my own files to the DX? What content formats are supported?
Yes, you can upload your own files.

How do I access my Kindle e-mail?
Your Kindle email address is located on the Manage Your Kindle page and on the device under Menu -> Settings.

What is the battery life of the DX?
Read on a single charge for up to 4 days with wireless on. Turn wireless off and read for up to 2 weeks.

Are my textbooks available for viewing on the computer at my Amazon.com homepage?
All Kindle books can be viewed on Kindle and Kindle DX. Kindle books can also be used on the iPhone and iPod touch unless marked otherwise.

Will my Kindle download anywhere in the United States?
Your Kindle will have wireless access anywhere you can access Sprint's EVDO cellular data network.

Will my DX work in other countries?
You can read the content already on your DX wherever you are. However, you will not be able to make new purchases while abroad. For more information on your Kindle library content, please see the Kindle Support tab on the Amazon.com Kindle store.
