Questions? Questions anyone?

Last week the Sophomore Scoop Series hosted an event for Res Life titled Res Life is your life housing. At the event we had a group of resident assistants help run a table alongside Sheila Taylor and Debbie Levesque. Many residents don’t know too much about what goes on with on-campus housing, but for those who did, we had a survey that asked questions regarding their current living situations. Along with the surveys, Res Life gave away pens, notepads, bookmarks, and a few more handy gadgets; they even submitted sophomores into a raffle with the grand prize of an iPod. Having this event really helped Res Life take a progressive step forward by getting useful feedback from residents residing on both the Pleasantville and Briarcliff campuses.

Taking a break for Thanksgiving, the Sophomore Scoops Series will conclude the fall semester of 2009 with Unresolved Problems? Questions? Feedback? Student Success on December 2, 2009. The Office for Student Success will be running a table in the Well of the Kessel Student Center answering any questions that students have regarding the services of the Office for Student Success. Representatives will be sitting at the table more than willing to help anyone in need. This is a great opportunity for students in all grades to familiarize themselves with as many possible resources on campus. Remember, you only lose the opportunities that you don’t take advantage of!
