The Sophomore Scoop Keeping You in the Loop
Emmanuel Ramirez
First and foremost, thank you to everyone who came to the Pace tutoring table on September 30th, 2009; we had a great turn out and the tutoring center is already starting to look more active. For those who could not make it, not to worry! The tutoring center is always accepting to all students! Even if you don’t need help, just sit in and get some homework done; we love the company! Although last week’s event is in our past, the Sophomore Scoop Series will be hosting another great event on Wednesday, October 7th, in the Well area of the Kessel Student Center. From 11:00am to 2:00pm the Co-op and Career Services will be running a table giving information about one of the most overlooked resources on campus. Think a few years down the road when you are about to graduate. Wouldn’t life be so much easier if you did not have to struggle to find a job in such an insensitive and cruel job market? Well come by and visit the Co-op and Career Services and put yourself in a better position for success! Participating in internships and having a substantial amount of relevant work experience is essential in moving forward. In what direction would you like to move?
