But when publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack finds a cause to fight for and rallies newsies from across the city to strike for what’s right.
The broadway musical is about an exceptionally intelligent little girl named Matilda. Everyday, she faces the challenge of having to put up with terrible parents and a vicious headmistress at her school. Armed with her intelligence and extraordinary powers, she retaliates and soon turns the tables around them. The story somehow resembles actual childhood experiences, which is why it gained the interest of people from all walks of life, giving them a revelation of how chaotic childhood could be, how powerful one’s imagination is, and how possible it is to change one’s destiny.
