Bedford Village Green includes an 1806 historical hall, an 1838 general store, and an 1838 post office. A 1787 Courthouse and an 1829 Schoolhouse house museums. All sites are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Eastchester Historical Society preserves and interprets the history of Westchester, with an emphasis on Eastchester; it also operates programs in its 1835 Marble School House. The Marble School was built of marble from the Tuckahoe quarry. In a separate building on site there is a reference library which contains books, maps, photographs and documents. The galleries and restored period room of Glenview, a vintage Hudson River home, features exhibitions of American art, history and science plus many family programs. Hudson Riverama, a permanent teaching gallery, simulates the Hudson River with scenic designs, interactive experiences, multimedia technology, aquariums and a scale model of the river. Explore the reaches of outer space at Andrus Planetarium shows.

Extraordinary landmark home to four generations of the Rockefeller family. Tours include the main rooms of the six-story stone house, the expansive terraced gardens containing an exceptional collection 20th century sculpture, art galleries with Governor Rockefeller's collection of Picasso tapestries and the Coach Barn with classic automobiles and horsedrawn carriages. Housed in the 1872 Austin House, the museum contains collections and exhibits of antiques and memorabilia reflecting local Ossining history dating from 1785, such as maps, military artifacts, photographs, furniture and items from Sing Sing Prison.

A National Historic Landmark and official project of Save America's Treasure, this high-style Georgian mansion, built in stages between 1680 and 1755, was home to the wealthy Loyalist, Frederick Philipse III. The museum has an original 1750's paper-mache ceiling, and selections from the Cochram Collection of American Portraiture.
