POSITION DESCRIPTION
Multicultural Affairs & Diversity Programs
GRADUATE ASSISTANT

BASIC FUNCTION:
This 10-month position will provide specific administrative support and relief to the Office of Multicultural Affairs & Diversity Programs through the implementation of programming and administrative duties that support the mission and vision of the office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend assigned student organization meeting and generate ideas and ways the MADP office
- Manage the office programming calendar
- Schedule 20 office hours per week
- Work with Director and diversity team(s) on identified initiatives and tasks
- Update website and content
- Maintain office social networks
- Produce and update office promotional materials
- Advise Peer Educators
- Assist in coordinating programs and events for the A.A.L.A.N.A. Mentorship Program
- Other Duties as assigned
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
- Advise Peer Educators
- Advise A.A.L.A.N.A. Mentors
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Earned Bachelors degree
- Full-time enrollment in Pace University Graduate program
- Experience and interest in multicultural and diversity issues
- Start and end dates vary based on academic year; typical start date is August 1; typical end date is May 31
COMPENSATION:
- 9 Hours Tuition Remission
