SAFEZONE Education Program
Awareness. Appreciation. Acceptance.
The Pace University SAFEZONE Education Program is a network of students, faculty and staff dedicated to promoting a safe and inclusive campus environment for LGBT individuals. Upon completion of a 3-hour educational workshop, members of the SAFEZONE network receive a resource manual and a SAFEZONE placard to display in their office, residence hall, etc. to visibly indicate that they are a part the campus “Safe Zone” (someone with information, sensitivity and understanding towards Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Questioning issues and concerns).
