Safe Zone is a campus training program designed to train and visibly identify students, staff, and faculty peers who support the LGBTQ population. The mandatory three-hour training session provides a foundation of knowledge needed to be an effective ally to the LGBTQ community. Campus trainings are offered multiple times throughout the year, however, training sessions can be arranged for other groups by request.

This three-hour training session provides a foundation of knowledge needed to be an effective ally to the LGBTQ campus community. Those who complete this training may post a provided Safe Zone placard that identifies their completion of the training comfort with being an ally and resource to the LGBTQ population on campus.
