What Our Graduates Are Saying
“At first I was unsure about my future, but after becoming a Biology major and working with the department, I realized that I have gained the necessary skills and education to allow me to get into the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and succeed in further education. I owe all my years in college to the biology department and their dedication to ensuring my success not only in undergrad, but in my future career.”
- Shawn Burke, BS, 2009
“During my undergraduate studies I had the opportunity to work alongside researchers whose passion for their work was both inspiring and contagious. As a student laboratory aide within the department, I acquired the basic research skills and knowledge necessary from working alongside the professors in order to now pursue my own professional goals within the scientific field.”
- Indira Londono, BS, 2007
“When I came to Pace, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I decided to take an Introductory Biology course, and that changed everything. The professor, Dr. Marcy Kelly, was very motivating and inspiring. After taking the course, I changed my major to Biology. With my BS in Biology I worked in a Genomics Lab for a couple of years and now I am in a PhD program at Cornell University, studying Nutrition.”
- Olga Tkachenko, BS, 2006
