We strongly encourage our majors to take advantage of our internship program and earn academic credit while gaining valuable professional skills. Interns may be placed in arts foundations, library associations, historical societies, hospitals, social service and other not-for-profit organizations. In addition, they may find opportunities at local, regional and national government agencies, communication corporations, telecommunication firms, cable television companies, newspapers, magazines, book publishers, advertising agencies, public relations firms and schools.  Some of our recent students and graduates have completed internships at MTV Networks, ABC Networks, the Hudson Stage Company, Westchester Magazine, and the Northern Westchester Women’s Shelter.
