Undergraduate Programs

English Language and Literature, BA – Literature Concentration (NYC)
Our dedicated scholars devote their individual attention and resources to guiding students in the analysis of the great imaginative works of British and American literature in a traditional program of literary studies. The concentration provides excellent preparation for graduate study in English, law, or humanities.

English Language and Literature, BA – Writing and Literature Concentration (NYC)
In addition to studying literature, students write news stories, feature articles, poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and screenplays under the guidance of faculty members who are noted New York writers. Students in this concentration may apply for the combined Bachelor of Arts in English/Master of Science in Publishing program, which enables students to complete both degrees in five years.

English Language and Literature, BA – Literature and Culture Concentration (NYC)
In this interdisciplinary track, students take courses in Women’s and Gender Studies, Film and Screen Studies, Cultural Studies, as well as writing and literature. This also allows students to double-major in these related fields.
