Forensic Science, MS (NYC)
By employing principals of biology, chemistry, and physics to answer questions in the courtroom, forensic scientists play a pivotal role in today’s criminal justice system. In order to accommodate students who are already employed, most of the courses will be offered in the late afternoon and evening hours.
This program provides you with the required course work to be employed in a forensic laboratory. An integral part of the program includes a placement in a forensic laboratory where you will acquire important hands-on experience.
Students with a BS in biology, chemistry, physics, or in other scientific disciplines may enter the master’s degree program, but may be required to complete some of the undergraduate science and forensic science prerequisite courses.
