FULTON CROSSING AT 140 WILLIAM STREET
Opening Fall 2012, Fulton Crossing at 140 William Street, a six-story, 47,200-square-foot building, will serve as the central home of the Performing Arts Department. The building is currently undergoing renovations to create new classrooms, dance and television studios, costume and design shops, as well as multiple performance spaces.

MICHAEL SCHIMMEL CENTER FOR THE ARTS
The Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts serves as our main stage facility. One musical and one play are performed on this stage each year. This theater also serves the department as a class room and a lecture hall, most notably BRAVO’s Inside the Actors Studio with James Lipton. Pace students have the extraordinary opportunity to view the taping of the show, where Lipton interviews some of the greatest actors of our generation. Schimmel Theater is a 650 seat combination proscenium/ thrust theater. It includes a computerized lighting system, infrared and wireless sound systems, and full fly loft. This full-time professionally staffed theater also serves as a rental facility. Internships and paid student positions are available on non-departmental productions.

SCHAEBERLE STUDIO THEATER
The Schaeberle Studio Theater is 72-seat black box that can be configured as a proscenium, three quarter thrust, or in the round. This unique black box functions as our second stage where the department presents plays and musicals as a part our dynamic season. Additionally, Schaeberle Studio Theater serves as a class room for advanced scene study and technical theater courses. It houses a 48 channel lighting system, and a state of the art sound system.
STUDIO 501
Studio 501 is a black box that functions as an actor’s haven. Its primary function is a class room where our fundamental acting courses are held. In the evenings this unique space turns into a theatrical experience. Students direct, act, design, manage, and produce workshops productions of published and student-written plays and musicals, creating a hands-on experience.

LAYTON DANCE STUDIO
The newest studio in our expanding facilities comes equipped with a piano, sprung marley floor, mirrors and sound systems. Layton is a large studio used primarily for dance and movement classes but also doubles as a rehearsal space. Adjacent to Layton Studio are three private sound proof voice studios used for coaching and private rehearsal.
MAINFRAME STUDIO
A large diverse studio utilized for classes, rehearsal space, workshops and master-classes. Adjacent are the offices of the musical theater faculty, these offices are convenient for private instruction and also house our vast Musical Theater Library that includes sheet music, scripts, scores, audio and video selections.
STUDIO 516
Studio 516 is an intimate space that primarily functions as our on camera classroom. Normally set up for Film and Television classes this space also has a raised floor and a mirrored wall that allows it to be converted into a rehearsal space.
DANCE NEW AMSTERDAM (DNA)
Dance New Amsterdam is leased space with sprawling dance studios complete with sprung marley floors and mirrored walls. DNA is truly a state of the art facility that accommodates many of our dance and voice & movement courses.
