What Our Graduates Are Saying

Kristina Vnook   “Since graduating this past May, I’ve been working at the Mint Theater, Where Senior Showcase was held. Currently I am working on their production of “Is Life Worth Living?”, and will be Assistant Stage Manager of their next show “So Help Me God!” at the Lucille Lortel Theater later this fall. I’ve also done various work with The Public Theater, The Boomerang Theater and most recently on John Tartaglia’s New Fangled Variety Show. This fall, I will be stage managing Rated: RSO at the New York Musical Theater Festival, and will be a Production Assistant on Bill Russell’s new musical “The Last Smoker in America” also in NYMF. Pace has helped me not only build my resume and expand my theatrical knowledge, but most importantly it has helped me make amazing contacts (and form great relationships) with fabulous directors and many up-and-coming professionals in the theater community.”

- Kristina Vnook, Theater Arts, BA, 2009

“Something special that I found in Pace is that, above all, what is acknowledged is effort. My professors saw that I wanted to work hard, participate as much as possible, and learn as much as I could, and those opportunities were granted. I think that in many programs across the country, talent reigns supreme which can be frustrating especially to a theater student. But I saw throughout my four years at Pace that those who are willing to put in the time and energy come out on top. If you want to be in a program where you are not a number; where your professors actually care who you are and cultivate your individual needs; where your passion is appreciated, Pace is right for you. I’d recommend the Pace Musical Theater program to anybody.”
