Minor in Peace and Justice Studies
A minor in Peace and Justice Studies provides students training that will serve them in a variety of careers and programs of advanced study. Career fields include policy research, legislative lobbying, public education, canvassing/petitioning, community service and more.

Students who graduate with an interest in Peace and Justice Studies often go on to professional and graduate programs. A growing number of universities offer graduate education in peace and conflict studies. Most of these programs are affiliated with departments or schools of sociology, political science, psychology, law, or theology.

Minor in Politics
Any other major is enhanced by familiarity with world affairs and understanding of public issues and government. The study of Political Science builds on verbal skills, listening and thinking, general knowledge, research and analysis, work habits, interpersonal and communication abilities, and refines skills of analysis, communication, public service and leadership.
